Such a young man struck down after days of honorable service to the people of New York City. Rest in peace Patrolman Pelosi. My father, Patrolman Owen C. Davis, may he too rest in peace worked out of the 102nd precinct for nearly forty years. You were about five years older than my father. I miss him and my mother, Bernice a lot.

My grandmother is Grace Pelosi and was married my grandfather Roland Martiny. Patrolman Joseph Pelosi was her brother. My cousin, James Pelosi ( Police Officer assigned to the 113 PCT) was given the shield number of Joseph Pelosi after completing the NYPD Police Academy. Jimmy, unfortunately passed away before he could retire from the NYPD.
I am a 25 year veteran of the NYPD and had the privilege to retire from the 113 Squad in 2016. With much regret, I was unable to ever work with Jimmy, and like his uncle left this world far too soon. God Speed, Jimmy and Joseph Pelosi, you are not forgotten.
