View all 21 ReflectionsZip was married to my cousin Katie, when they took in my mom, myself and my brother off of Berkeley and willow. Maybe 5 years old I remember his feet being wrapped and a gunshot wound to his stomach from a getaway driver he tried to stop on white avenue. Just a kid I knew he was special, and we shared the same birthday. The marriage didn't last as one was going to work while the other was going to sleep didn't help. My mom remarried for the next 54 years and on, Katie passed away this year as a trustee for Chaffey college and the highest achievement in our family history. They stood for what's good in this country
