40+ years has passed but it seems like it was just yesterday. For the brief time I had you, you taught me so much. The love and friendship you gave me always made me feel special and is something that I always hold close to my heart. I'll never forget our ice cream dates and calling Mom a chicken while we were updated down clacking away upside down on that roller coaster. I still have my chair you redid, your handprint is still there in the paint! There's been some challenges but I want you to know I'm doing my best in integrity and in my own way of serving to make you proud. I wear my memorial bracelet everyday with your name on it on my left wrist because it is closer to my heart. My heart aches whenever I see another from the blue family paid the ultimate sacrifice. I know so deep what the pain feels like for their family. I pray for each of our officers and their families daily. No one should ever have to feel that type of pain. I am so grateful for all the comments people have posted over the years here in regards to you and I thank them each with my whole heart for taking the time out to post. I love you always. Your daughter, Sandy
