Well John Dear I made my annual visit to your grave. How is it possible that life has gone on without you? How is it possible that I could have survived that shock? One moment we are planning our future together. So much joy to look forward to with good friends and family. We were going to get married on the beach. Just a small ceremony with our kids, close family and cherished friends. But not to be. You were killed, gone. Our plans shattered with my heart. I truly thought I would be next. I really wanted God to take me too. But no. I was to stay. Here we are 33yrs later. I will forever be grateful for the love we shared, for the time we had. You changed me. I will never forget you. Not ever! As I read what others have experienced with you it warms and heals my heart. You mattered John Dear!
