Justin Cain

Patrolman Justin Cain succumbed to injuries sustained five months earlier when his patrol car struck a concrete pylon and a tree.

He was on a lunch break at the time when his vehicle accelerated for unknown reasons through a shopping center parking lot and struck the pylon.

Patrolman Cain was a United States Persian Gulf Army Military Police veteran and had served with the LaGrange Police Department for two years. He is survived by his parents and his sister.

Got to telling “war stories” tonight with my girlfriend and Justin came up. Colonel, Mama Cain and Eli, know that he’s not forgotten. I still have his memorial bracelet and I can still muster up a laugh at some great memories from Lee’s Crossing and LaGrange PD, and a good many of those revolve around Justin. I hope he and Charo found each other in Heaven, and I’m glad I got to be a part of his life, however tragically short. Cain fam, hope y’all are well. My son will be at Benning next year for basic and AIT, and it would be amazing to come see y’all and share a minute or two. Justin, thanks for nothing but good memories. Rest easy brother.
