Reflections for K9 Spike
Lord God of unfailing love, to those families of our beloved nation, the United States of America, who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a Law Enforcement K-9 family member in the Line-of-Duty, help us to provide support. Allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Lord God, in Your compassionate mercy, hear my prayer. Amen.
Please find Comfort, Support, and Hope from the following Scripture Verses from The Law Enforcement Officer’s Christian Standard Bible:
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” [Matthew 5:4], and
“His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant!” [Matthew 25:23a]

K9 Spike, we all start our day out thinking we know what is ahead for the day - unless you are a police officer. Only God knew that evil planned to destroy you, but instead, you were elevated to a place of supreme heroism. In spite of the tremendous loss to your partner, department and family, God wrote YOUR name on a star, and He hung it in the heavens to so that your extraordinary devotion and faithfulness would be seen forever. May He bless your partner, team and family with peace and pride!
