Dear Sheriff Wayne Seiberlich and Members of the Isanti County Sheriff's Office,

We were deeply saddened to hear about the loss of K9 Karma, your loyal and brave canine partner. I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for K9 Karma’s handler, your fellow officers, and all who had the privilege of working alongside such a remarkable partner. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of K9 Karma.

It is clear that K9 Karma was not only a highly skilled and dedicated member of your department but also a beloved companion and true community hero. The work that K9 Karma and the handler performed—from tracking dangerous suspects to detecting threats—was vital, courageous, and deeply appreciated.

The bond between a K9 and their handler is unique and profound, forged through trust, mutual respect, and daily dedication to a shared mission. Losing such a partner is not just a professional loss, but a deeply personal one, and our hearts go out especially to Karma’s handler during this difficult time.

K9 Karma’s legacy of service, bravery, and unwavering commitment to public safety has left a permanent mark on your department and the community. The impact of that service will not be forgotten.

Please know that as you mourn, you are not alone. The broader law enforcement family and your community stands beside you, united in grief and gratitude. Having served in law enforcement for over 46 years and as part of a law enforcement family, I understand the sacrifices that come with this profession. If there is anything we can do to offer support or assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

May the memory of K9 Karma bring you comfort, and may K9 Karma’s legacy continue to inspire courage, service, and dedication in all who wear the badge.

With deepest sympathy,

Chief (retired) Don P. Jensen Sr. DrE, PGP, PP, PM

Lord God of Unfailing Love, to those families of our beloved nation, the United States of America, who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a Law Enforcement K-9 family member in the Line-of-Duty, help us to provide support. Allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Father God, in Your compassionate mercy, hear my prayer! In Christ Jesus, and by His Authority, I pray. Amen.

[Jesus taught:] "Blessed are those who mourn - they will be comforted."
