PROBATION??? That man took a K9 Officers life and he gets probation??!! He should be treated the same as if he killed a human LEO! They put their lives on the line everyday just as their handler does so he should be treated like he killed a Human LEO! Probation?? Life in prison would have been the correct outcome , NOT PROBATION!

My condolences to K9 Raven and to his handler (I didn't see his name) and his family. My reflection may get pulled but this comes from my heart. I totally understand the need for K9s. I'm 74 and have 2 GSDs in my live, Casey my 1st, died of old age at 10yrs. Beautiful black and sable boy and a great protector. Sam was my heart and soul dog. I was blessed to have him for nearly 18 yrs when he succumbed to cancer in 2023. He was never in pain just moved a little slower. This being said, I do not believe the suspect should have received only probation. Of course, me being such a devout dog lover, I would have sentenced him to death. The courts are too lenient! Again my prayers go out to the family and Tuscon Police Department!
