I was working that night for Lansdale Police Dispatch which covered several surrounding departments. Montgomery Twp had their own dispatch center.
Several departments were backing Montgomery Twp up, and I was instructed to start calling veterinarians that could provide emergency service. I frantically called many. Montgomery Twp reached one, however Doc had succumbed to his injuries.
