Officer Williamson, the 22nd anniversary of your murder is approaching. It's sad that your murderer was given such a light sentence, but that's our justice system and it doesn't always work. It's apparent from all the reflections left behind that in your four short years on the job, you had quite a positive impact on all who knew and loved you. An obvious hero.
Your agency is a part of history now and you are a sad part of that history, but an honored one.
God Bless you Brother and may you rest eternally at peace.

I don't know why I thought of you today. But here I am. You were one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Always so sweet and sincere. I wish I could turn back the hands of time and change everything.

I graduated Molloy with John, we never hung out a lot but he was always a good guy. He was one of the first in our class to lose his life, he gave his life in the protection of us all. A senseless act took him from his family, but none of us will forget.

I remember this as it were yesterday I was working in the 81 pct. What I don't remember is a bunch of cops rioting, looting, and setting the neighborhood on fire after the verdict. So once again who are the ANIMALS

Hey John,
With a new year about to begin we reflect and remember. And we do not forget. To our HAPD family and Officers and families around the globe, life is so precious. Tell someone that you Love them today. Open a door and hold it for the person behind you. Say a kind word and smile just because. John was such a good man. With a good spirit. Share some goodness and smile. Then think of John. I'm sure he'll be smiling with you.

Hey John, I was talking about Tony today, how he memorized movies, and I thought of you once again. I looked up HAPD and found this site, and found you. I read all the reflections and like the others; I will never forget. I talk to my children often about police officers and service. When I speak about the true good guys. Those who are fair and just. Your name is always mentioned. A good example you set, a good man, you are remembered.
To the Williamson family, Chris and Tony, When I think of John I think of you guys too. May God continue to hold your hands. Marcy

John,
I will never forget you, the years have passed but you are still thought of, still missed and still with me. Every year I have learned more of the person you were, the lives you touched, for that I am grateful.

As a scouting friend it was a pleasure to know John growing up to be a fine young man. Sprintime and Summer brings another camping season at Alpine and Aquehonga without your smile and helpfulness. Thanks for your inspiration.
