I never meet you John, I was in the academy class at the time of the horrid night. I was in there as a housing cop and I knew at the time I was going to be assigned to Psa#6. When I was assigned to Psa#6, heard many awesome stories of you from your old partner and co-workers. Also I remember going to animals trial to show support. Years later after I was assigned to another command I worked with your brother in law Chris, who recognized me from the trial. Well even thou we never met I wanna thank you for protecting me everyone who worked in Psa#6. Thank you and rest easy.

I was with John a few weeks before his death. We were all setting up a show in Orbach Arena at Camp Alpine for the Boy Scouts O.A. Conclave. I didn't know John well but I knew enough to follow his example. Very Sad. RIP John.

Several days ago was the 24th anniversary of your murder and sacrifice. You no doubt observed it as did all who share the same date in Heaven.
Here on Earth is was not forgotten by many, and remembered later by many more. You will never truly be forgotten because your name is on a wall in Washington and you are also remembered here. And especially, because all your descendants will never forget you or your sacrifice. You are a hero.
God Bless you, Brother and FOREVER REST IN PEACE!

Rest in peace John. We were in the same academy class ,but we never met.Well, with 2900 recruits in three squads, that makes sense. I remember the day you died. I remember being so angry that someone had the nerve to kill a cop.So angry that someone threw a bucket off the roof at the police. So angry that it was someone from our class. I went to your funeral. I had to. You were one of the guys from my academy class. One of "our" class. It was different from other LOD funerals for me. . I will never forget the day I attended your funeral. I still think of you from time to time. Even though we never met .You will never be forgotten brother.Never.

I remember hearing all about this. It happened a couple of months after I started the academy. When I was assigned to the 34, the cops in the heights were still talking about his death and Mike's. Terrible. God bless

I visit the page from time to time. Remembering the cops who really did care about each other, and most of all john who gave more then any one of us. The guys who were always there in good and bad times. Now the good times are gone, but we remember on, working with the best of the best, tony f, bobby m, kevin m, just to name a few. I always were johns memorial bar on my uniform and have never taken it off. So proud of all the cops here to keep johns memory alive, especially tony f. for all you've done.
