Everyone wants to finish what they begin and Our Maker denotes when our missions and journeys are deemed as complete. Your family, Officer Cook, suffered a terrible and most horrible loss. Your young life and career were snuffed out by a man of no conscious. No respect, integrity, character and dignity. Yours chased down evil and wickedness making security and safety a top shelf priority for those living in Dade County at the time. Faith and effort were put in your hands by God as He steered your patrols, both sacred and solemn as they served to enhance the image of society and for this no one forgets. You are always on my mind and forevermore implanted in my heart. I thank God for your friend and partner, Officer Keith DiGenova who somehow survived that awful day of infamy.
