You went to those venues where violence and turmoil struck, Officer Cook and through your endless endeavor you were able more often than not to stop such adversity. Dade County was fairly fortunate to have a decent and a most loyal man among its ranks. Ingenuity and integrity stoked the flames of your dignity and fighting heart. such cornerstones and foundations laid down for a safer future but you are missing whatever you started and now with your wisdom, vision and virtue in heaven walking your angelic beat may Our Creator protect you as He blesses you. It takes guts not glory to end terror, you possessed and steadfastly maintained your character and scruples throughout your life cut too short because of evil. A clever man or woman can fulfill the rigors of a stressful occupation where everything from A to Z will occupy their entire day, afternoon and evening. Even when the lights go out trouble always seems to be brewing. The venues and streets were well protected by you, Officer Cook and your shining resourcefulness.
