Good morning James.

Winter is on its way☺....youd be loving the hunting season. Skiing is gonna be a blast!. Jesse -James fits in your ski jacket n pants now...made my heart hurt a bit. Im glad you insisted we buy our ski gear on our last trip to Denver to see grandma n grandpa. Your gear RIGHTFULLY always belonged to him. He looks awesome in his dads Spider gear!...He's grown so much....i wish you were here to wrestle with him, joke around, tease him, give advice n direction like I can picture you doing. I know the next frw years are gonna fly, & our lil' man is gonna spread his winds and give this world a run for its money! He's got his dad's smile n sparkle in his eye....hes also an awesome dancer...ive made sure to give him a lot of practice haha. Girls n women always come ask him to dance at functions cuz they've seen us on the dance floor. people are very impressed w him....i love you James. You're always in my heart and I know you're our angel...i'll miss your hand in mine . until I see you & touch your face again....i love you.

As you know it's a bright sunny beautiful day out today. The clock ticks and the world continues to turn. But for some, the tick tock and the hustle and bustle of the regular world is haulted. We wish today wouldn't have been forever changed so many painful years ago. We miss your smile, laughter, friendship. Our son misses a father he barely had the chance to meet and only got to feel his hugs n kisses for a short time. Our son Jesse-James is no longer a small boy yearning for you to come back and play w him. .Jesse-James is now a young man I am proud to say is ours! He is intelligent begond his years in mind and spirit. He is so loving and cares so deeply for others. When he's unsure of things, he asks what I think you'd tell him to do...he's a teenager now. Ready to envision his future and what paths to travel. He's got large boots to fill James. Our expectations are great...i know you watch over him...hes so wonderful huh?...hes has so many of your characteristics. His stance, expressions. Even when he sleeps his face looks like yours. His hands...so perfectly you. He's quite the runner these days. His best year yet with the Law enforcement Tourch Run. He kicked butt! Moms always proud. My heart aches when I remember how you left us. My heart is heavy. I wish you couldve stayed with us. No matter what path my life takes James, you will always be a priority in Jesse-James life. He wants to make us proud always. He is the sunshine in the world you left behind and we love you and him with all our hearts...i still feel you with me James...we love & miss you greatly. Wow we're back Red River was great! I came home and watched an old video of my third birthday and you walked through the door and it broke my heart to know that I'm not going to see that ever again. We all had a great time we all thought about you!!! I could stop crying when I watched the video to think I was so young back then and I was shy if I would have known what was going to happen I would have interacted more with you. To see all of my loved ones that passed away on tape made me break out in to tears but god takes people for a reason and he figured it was your time and now I can't wait to see all of you !!! I love you !

Life keeps movin and shaking.....but we just keep rollin' on. You know we miss and love you always. Jesse-James was looking at the pics of his 1st Easter with us. You carrying him and his basket....he knows you loved him immensely...and that you're always with us. That's the hard part James...you never left....we just can't reach out and touch you. Not a day goes by that you don't cross my mind. Winter is coming and the first snow fall is near....it meant fun for us and our snow sports!! Jesse-James is quite the skier and golfer these days...I'm so proud of him! We miss you always...I know you're with me....I still feel you..makes my heart happy. Hi James,

Red River was fun as usual....as you know as you watched our fun activities. You're always with us. You know we all carry you in our hearts and talk about you often. Jesse-James loves his "Red River" time. He looks forward to it all year long! He's a blessing to anyone that knows him...he's awesome! He's funny & charming....great kid all the way around. He wore his NMSP cap all weekend long and created a few shirts for the rally that had both police emblems and USMC emblems on them. He is a very proud boy, loves his dad and represents you whenever the opportunity presents itself. He truly makes us both proud! You are always near James, in thought, prayers, and in my heart!

Our Beloved James,

As we reflect back to ten years ago when you left us all broken hearted, we think on the happy times we shared with you and the beautiful memories you left. God gives us the gift of memory, that keeps you close in our hearts forever! Not a day goes by that we don't think of you. We miss your laughter & visits, family gatherings aren't the same, but the world is a better place because we had you for a short 28 yrs. You brought so much joy into our lives!
As we attended the N. M. Law Enforcement Memorial Service in Santa Fe, we thank you and all P.O. for you're service and sacrifices. We visited the V.A National Cemetery. It is surreal to see your name engraved in granite.
Your son Jesse-James so proud; honoring the Dad he barely knew. It breaks our hearts for his big loss! So much like you James! He brings us so much joy!
In Questa we attended the Memorial Day Service for all Veterans at the healing field, so touching....flags flying proudly, yes, you were a proud Marine! A member of two great fraternities! You sacrificed you're life for you're country and you're community and served with Pride & Honor! We salute you and honor You! "You did leave a big hole in our hearts, we miss you every day!"
Rest in peace our beloved Grandson! Forever in our hearts! "Te Amo," you're last words to me (6-4-06).

Hi Dad...I miss you lots.I always keep you in my heart and prayers. I think about you when I go to bed at night and wonder what life would be like if you were here with me and Mom. I miss you. I will see your name on the NMSP wall on Wed. I know you watch everything I do and when I do well you are proud of me. Your name is actually quite familiar to me. I knew it the second I read the reflection. James talked about you as well. And yes, with quite the smile on his face! Bless you for keeping him close, he's with you, you know it. His son is the spitting image of him. Jesse-James will turn 11 in January, I know he makes him proud. I have hundreds of pics of James Military days and am sure you're in tons of them. I only wish I could put a face to the name. I bet you've got some awesome stories his boy would love to hear about! Bless you in your upcoming retirement and future plans! James is happy as hell for you! LOL That was just one of his many aspirations, retire from the military. This is Jeff Stevens. Arch and I rode in the same vehicle together for the invasion into Iraq. I loved him and think of him regularly.
