It's taken 120 years for your heroic sacrifice to be acknowledged, and as a former fellow Delaware law enforcement officer it is an honor to be the second of what I am sure will be numerous additional reflections to say thank you. Rest in peace always knowing that no passage of time will ever erase your service and sacrifice and you will always be remembered by your law enforcement brethren.
