Reflections for Police Officer Jennifer Lynn Sebena
Jen,
It was a pleasure to work with you and I thank God that we were able to have that last conversation with each other about our faith. Little did I know that it would be the last, but I can rest easy knowing that it was not goodbye, just until I see you again. My prayers are with Jen's family and with all of the Sebenas.

Officer Sebena, To be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord. Rest well.
To Your Family,
Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.
Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray, “Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with loving, caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name, Amen”
I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for 212 months. Feel those prayers. God is with you, He knows and will ease your pain.

For Officer Jennifer Lynn Sebena:
The life of the law officer is fraught with risk and sometimes this extends to the personal life in the form of all the trials and tribulation we might all at some time experience at any given level. We regret that our sister Jennifer would be the next victim of one so deranged as to deny her life rather than seek a solution to a real and personal situation.
We pray for Jennifer's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about her. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.
We are proud to render Officer Jen Sebena, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.

Jen,
Thank you for being my friend, my sister in blue and a dedicated coworker. Most of all, thank you for blessing my life with your smile, your laugh and your extremely kind heart.
Tonight I saw the most amazing light in a very dark sky. Thank you for letting us know that you are resting peacefully in God's arms. Your sign was received and the anger I've carried all week disappeared in that moment.
Still serving, still protecting, still helping, still guiding and still loving even from Heaven. Rest easily sweet lady, we have your watch from here.

Jennifer,
You've answered the calling so many desire, yet lack the Courage or Bravery to obtain. You've joined one of the most awesome bonds of sisters and brothers in Law Enforcement, who will Preserve and Protect at all cost the Life, Liberty and Justice of all those who aren't strong enough to protect themselves. I can only imagine what you must've been thinking at your untimely departure.....Now you've answered yet again the calling of the Ultimate Sacrifice that we all strive never to reach, in our long or short careers in Law Enforcement. Although your time was short lived....the words spoken by your family, friends and Minister to describe the person you were, will be the first and everlasting impression you have left upon me. You are truly a Decorated Officer one should strive to emulate and will be missed. A Baby Cop! Rest Easy Lil Sis, we shall carry the load from here!

She Protected citizens she didn't even know and yet she gave her life at the hands of someone who she once trusted. A very Cowardly act of sick twisted love on the part of that skell husband!! God Bless you brave soul. You had to be ambushed by a coward in order for him to get to you !

Family Chain
We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved your dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.
RIP dear Jennifer, thank you for your service.
