Reflections for Police Officer Scott Matthew Baird
Scott, I see your face here and I am deeply saddened because of why you are here. But yet, I am also very proud of you. You worked very hard to be a policeman and I had the honor to ride with you during a shift. I wanted everyone to know that you were my son and I am so proud of him. I drove home that morning feeling so elated to see my son living his dream and what a wonderful compassionate policemen you were. You satisfied my dreams by being with you that night. I miss you Scott, my friend, my son, the one who always made me laugh. But never a day goes by without thoughts of you. I love you, Mom

My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family of Scott Baird, as they are with all families who have had to go through the loss of losing a loved one. My fiance is a Sheriffs Deputy in Pinellas County and I find myself occasionally looking at these reflections. It serves as a reminder to I know atleast myself that anything can happen, at anytime. Never take a day together for granted, in an instance it can be taken away...God bless..

I knew him through his roomate, who is an officer. Scott was very kind and i will always remeber him. He was an excellent officer, friend and a citizen.
